One Year Later
Its been a year since I’ve been on tumblr. Another year older, another year wiser? In some ways I guess its the truth. The mindset of being an adult settles in my mind more and more. I’m going to be graduating university soon which scares me a bit. I find time passes by at a pace that is hard to keep up with sometimes; too many memories to be made but not enough time.
I realize that just with my degree it’ll be difficult to find a job I love, so I’m applying to a photography program. This observation of time passing by so quickly might be a reason as to why I love photography, being able to capture moments so the memories won’t be lost.

Finals with the Christmas Fire Log

Many nights on campus studying my final year
Happy Lunar New Years
Hey everyone, I hope you enjoyed Lunar New Years and all. I had an awesome few days with the Lunar New Years celebrations. I had dinner with the family, learned about how Lunar new years is celebrated in Korea, and I went to the Chinese New Year’s Banquet that university students organized. Lots of food, lots of fun!

Met new people at the CNY banquet! Good food, and good jokes and a fun time! Its the year of the rabbit so I wish those who are the year of the rabbit lots of luck and prosperity!

My love for Kpop
My love for Kpop……. probably as bad or could even surpass my ice cream addiction…..
So why do I love Kpop so much?
Its cause the way the whole atmosphere of Kpop is surrounded in. They have shows every week, the dance-beats or ballads, and how amazingly talented the artists are. Also I love how passionate the entire Kpop industry is. The music, dance, looks and everything appeals to me and I love it. Although I don’t understand a lot of the lyrics just watching the MV helps me understand a lot of what the song is about. When I compare North American music to Korean music I find that North American music isn’t as strong. In Korea they’ll have like the Beyonce’s, Brittany Spears (pre-crazy), and Lady Gaga’s but thats all they have, their artists all are expected to dance, sing, act and model all at once where North American artists only have to do one thing, and in a lot of occasions aren’t really good at it either. I’m not really trying to put down North American music, I just find that it is not as exciting or intense as Kpop or in general Asian Pop music.
School so far
So its been three weeks since school started and its crazy different from last year. My design courses are even more intense what with clients, presentations and projects already due. With homework taking up most of my weekends and work to go along with that, i barely have anytime to myself…… well more like i barely have anytime to youtube my night away ahaha. I miss the summer where I could be in the same courses as my friends, but since school started we’re all back in our designated faculties and I miss them =(. Also school seems to be flying so fast cause its already past the half way point of September which means midterms are just around the corner……. EEK!!!!!!!!!!
If I won the lottery
If I won the lottery I would go on a huge trip to Japan and Korea. Not only that but I’d take some really good friends with me, I’d probably pay for them cause I’d really want them to be there with me, and we’d have awesome memories!!!!
I’d probably by a huge house and a car. I’d rent out the extra rooms to my friends and it would be a party!!!
Sooo basically its always gonna be a party if I won the lottery aahhaahah. OH and pay off my student loans right away too!
